TEXAS CITY — On Dec. 10, the Houston Touchdown Club honored the top offensive, defensive and top coaches of the Houston area with their annual High School Football Awards where Texas City senior linebacker D’Vonta Hinton was named a top 10 finalist for the defensive player of the year in the Houston area.
Congratulations are in order for Charles “Cliff” Burks and Ross Novelli, who both have received France’s highest military award, the Legion of Honour, for their service during the Invasion of Normandy.

It will require Republicans to help the country recover on both the domestic and foreign policy fronts. I believe a majority of legal voters now realize that. And illegal voting should come with a stiff penalty....2 months ago

In earlier centuries, people died younger and breast cancer is more rare in younger women isn't it? And women had more children at younger ages they do today which supposedly lowered the risk.2 months ago
We all remember the criticism President Bush got over Katrina. Democrats want it both ways, apparently. 2 months ago
“In 1839 the City of Galveston adopted a charter and was incorporated by the Congress of the Republic of Texas. The city was by then a burgeoning port of entry and attracted many new residents in the 1840s and later among the flood of German immigrants to Texas, including Jewish merchants. Together with ethnic Mexican residents, these groups tended to oppose slavery, support the Union during the Civil War, and join the Republican Party after the war.

Galveston's Liberal views back then were most likely due to its being largely Republican. Texas Democrats weren't known for such views back then, were they? 3 months ago

"Democrats were historically pro-slavery. The KKK was founded by Democrats. Democrats like George Wallace were fierce segregationists. FDR, a Democrat, put Japanese Americans in prison camps for the entirety of WWII. Modern Democrats believe that black students need to be surrounded by white students in order to do well in school. It seems like the pot is calling the kettle black on this one." posted by "Unknown" but seems right on target.
Democrats need Blacks to be needy in order to stay in power. This has done great harm to Blacks, destroyed families, excused bad behavior of the youth, and harmed the country.
Along the way they have taken over a majority of the news conglomerates.
