Several analyst thought he came out to bring attention to himself, because he is too small and not fast enough for the NFL. If he does get picked up by another team we all know that the NFL really stands for Not For Long, because the average time a player stays is just 2 1/2 years. 2 months ago
No one ever talks about the Ecana WRB (Wood River - Borger) pipeline that has been bringing Alberta Oil Sands crude to Phillips 66 Wood River, IL and Borger, TX refineries. Keystone is just another pipeline performing something that has been happening since 2007. Its political, lets see, Warren Buffet? Why is he against it? Burlington Northern owned by Berkshire Hathaway stands to lose millions if a pipeline is built and shuts down the rail. This has nothing to do with the environment.6 months ago
I was an operator in the #3 Olefins at Union Carbide for over 8 years, that is referenced in this story. Dow calls units that take Ethane, Propane and Naptha to an Olefin as a Light Hydrocarbon Plant. In 2004 when margins were low decisions to shutter the Union Carbide Olefin units in Texas City and Seadrift was mostly political. The former UCC units were more efficient and were Ethane crackers but because of "environmental" CO2 and NOX emissions they were chosen to close. Gulf Coast ethylene capacity was reduced and prices were raised. The facilities closed were actually better than the Dow facilities in Freeport and Plaquemine, LA. Now with fracking the two light end crackers are going to be rebuilt in Freeport, with the same capacity that Texas City is dismantling. Sad thing is Dow is 4 years behind, Lyondell, ExxonMobil, Ineos, ChevronPhillips and
Formosa that are ahead of Dow increasing capacity. This could have been restored quickly rather than tearing down a facility. Dow stockholders don't get the real story ever. 6 months ago
No one in Galveston or Harris County would retain this guy...... a law license with no clients.....maybe a public defender......I pity whoever gets him as a court appointed attorney.12 months ago
Okay so TruthFirst no wonder you have blinders on and refuse to accept that Christopher was guilty of any wrong doing. When you post a poem on his FB page and he list you has his fiance, it is pretty obvious you never read the charges where evidence was his own words. Regardless of what you think he broke the law going after the other attorney's in cases where he should have recused. That was his official abuse of power. Judge Patrick was lenient by accepting the plea and dropping the felony charges. You better wait a long time before you marry this guy, he is unstableSep 23, 2013
TruthFirst I have lived in Galveston County almost 6 decades, I am not a part of the legal community, but I have needed a fair judge on my behalf and the behalf of my family. Judge Quintenila recused himself in a case that affected my grandchild because he knew one of the parties involved. He wanted total fairness. Where Christopher went wrong was that he went after attorney's that represented others in cases against him. It was way more than Lori Laird, it was others too. To say he did well on 7,000 to 9,000 cases, is like a surgeon, that performs that many surgeries but on 100 he totally screws up and someone dies. He should have willingly recused, but instead went after them. It appeared to me that Lori was trying to protect her client because Dupuy would not be fair with her client. He did the same with Greg Hughes calling him a scum bag It was abuse of power and where he broke the law. I don't know any of these people personally, I did vote for Dupuy. I will never listen to the party but try to learn about the character of the individual. In 2011 he took $47,000 he held in the Young divorce case spending it on himself and had to be sued to return it. He was ordered to return $30,000 which he borrowed from his uncle. His uncle had to sue him for lack of payment. I really recommend you read the removal petition and all the evidence that are official court records. This isn't a group of attorneys going after him this is Dupuy himself. Here is the link, I read it, hope you do too. https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B9RaRTko0j09a0xpLTREM0JacnM/edit?pli=1

Truth First you must have a deep emotional tie to Christopher which could affect your opinions, I just read the court transcripts that were his own words and actions. His failure to recuse himself when a motion was filed, to hold attorney's in contempt of court when a motion to recuse was filed. At that point he is required by law to allow a district judge to rule on the motion for recuse, he continued the vendetta against his former wife's attorney on a case that had nothing to do with their case. He could not separate his personal life from the profession of the office he took an oath to perform. Even when he was ordered to not discuss the case he posted on facebook even saying slanderous thing to/about the county judge. He may love his children, his ex wife may be what you say, but that is his personal life not his professional life. He couldn't separate the two. Read this link and you can see just how incompetent he performed his duties. His anger in the courtroom and his abuse of the office is what he did, not what others did to him.

This is the first sane thing Christopher Dupuy has done in two years. He did it all to himself. I hope he learns something from this turns his life around and becomes a respectable honorable member of society and a father his children can be proud of.Sep 19, 2013
They always want to blame straight ticket voting, since the days of LBJ we have regrets from both sides, Dupuy is no different than the idiots on both sides.
Go ahead blame it on straight ticket voters, its not different than the uneducated voters that elected the current administration. Change is not always good, either way you look at it, come on who really would vote for Joe Biden? Dupuy showed himself over and over in the courtroom to be a vindictive arrogant fool. The democratic judge that gave him custody of his children made a terrible decision, he must have been just as corrupt. Dupuy needs to stay in jail, he still believes he is smarter than everyone else. He needs to sit in jail, hopefully he will get out in time to see his kids graduate from high school.
