Q. Why should voters choose you? What are your specific qualifications for the position?

A. The voters should elect me because I am the most experienced and most qualified choice for Constable. I have twenty-years of law enforcement experience. Twelve of which were in police administration including two and a half as a Chief of Police. As police chief I supervised 41 employees served as the school district’s emergency management coordinator provided 1100 faculty and staff members with a safe place to teach and 10500 students with a safe place to learn. My duties also included preparing and administering the departments nearly $900000.00 annual operating budget. I reduced the annual operating budget by seventeen percent over my two and a half year tenure and all the while maintaining an unsurpassed level of effective and efficient police services.

Q. What are the issues in this campaign? What is your platform on those issues?

A. As Constable I will hold myself and all employees to the highest level of accountability standards. Me my office and its employee’s will be accessible at all time during normal business hours. The Constables office will be staffed at all times. My office will make every attempt to assure that each customer receives the highest quality police services available.

Q. What specific actions would you take to make the office you seek more accessible to county residents and work efficiently with tax monies?

A. Upon taking office as Constable I will assure that every citizen business owner and law enforcement agency requiring assistance from the Precinct 4 Constables office will have access to our office at all times during normal business hours of operation. To assure that customer needs are met the Constables office will be staffed at all times during regular business hours. For after hour assistance I will personally be available by cellular or home telephone. Both numbers will be published and posted outside my office.

Q. Tell us a about yourself. How old are you? What is your occupation? What is your highest level of education?

A. I was born in Galveston TX into a family of ten brothers and sisters. I was very active in baseball football track & field and hunting. I am forty-four years young and have three children and one grandchild. I am a police officer with 20 years public service experience. I hold a master certificate. The highest level certification issued by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Education.
