Henson Endorses Kinard As Sheriff
LEAGUE CITY — Mike Henson chief deputy for the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office announced he has endorsed John Kinard for sheriff. Kinard faces sheriff’s office Maj. Henry Trochesset in the Republican Primary runoff for sheriff.
”(Kinard) served 27 years as an FBI Agent and a former police officer” Henson said. ”He has nationwide exposure to the most advanced technology management and investigative techniques. He has an accounting and a law degree which will be invaluable in managing the $34 million sheriff’s office budget and avoiding costly lawsuits.”
In his role as chief deputy Henson oversees the operations of the county jail.
