There is no doubt that we, as a society bearing the almost immeasurable guilt of the behavior of people we never knew who lived a couple of hundred years ago in the same country we live in now, are responsible to do the following for all minority residents:
    - Counsel them in the right way to vote. (we all know what that is!)
    - Remind them each day that they must vote, and for whom.
    - Pick them up (rent a car if ours are not comfortable enough) and take them to polling locations.
    - Fill out for them, any documentation, forms, etc. that may be required.
    - Stand in line for them.
    - Tap screens, push buttons, pull levers or any other physical effort needed to assist them in voting.
    - Take them out to lunch afterward. No cheapo place, either. The best!
    - Do their laundry and leave them a few hundred in cash for walking around money after we abandon them back to their oppressed lives.
    - Get up next day and start over again. Repeat until they tell us we have paid the price they require for the sins of others.

Island Runner, all you have to do is present your Voter ID card to the DPS office and they will issue you one FREE, GRATIS, NO CHARGE.
Tax - A fee or dues levied on the members of an organization to meet its expenses.
    from: http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/DriverLicense/electionID.htm
If you do not have any of the following acceptable forms of ID, beginning June 26, 2013, you may apply for an Election Identification Certificate (EIC) at no charge.
WHAT PART OF "NO CHARGE" DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND!

A poll tax by any other name is still a poll tax. Thanks GOP.
