Nia Cultural Center would be honored if you’d accept our invitation to be a read aloud guest for the Nia Cultural Center’s Children’s Defense Fund Freedom School during our morning Harambee! from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. weekdays on a day of your choice from June 18 to July 26 — except June 19 and July 4 — at Weis Middle School, 7100 Stewart Road, in Galveston.

Freedom Schools is a model program that provides summer enrichment through a curriculum that supports children and families.
