Thank you mainlandlass for pointing out that loud obnoxious noise some dare call music. I wonder how long it will take before these "rap aficionados" go deaf.

Texas City does have beautiful statuary but that's diminished when you hear cars blasting loud rap crap every place you go in this town. You can't get away from it. If you're in a store shopping, you hear it coming in from the street - it's everywhere. And then when you're trying to leave Texas City during rush hour via Palmer, that's going to cost you an hour of your life to travel 3 blocks.

Beauty doesn't make up for the aggravations of living & commuting here.

Texas City is very beautiful. The only way it could be more beautiful is if we cleaned up some of the water areas in Bay Street Park and along Skyline Drive including by the floodgate. There is too much trash by the water that gets into the water before it gets cleaned up. We have a beautiful area here....I wish I knew who to talk to about this.
