Nady's single in 12th lifts Padres over Nats 4-3

WASHINGTON (AP) — Former Nationals outfielder Xavier Nady's tiebreaking RBI single off Craig Stammen in the top of the 12th inning, right after an error let the runner get to third base, gave the San Diego Padres a 4-3 victory over Washington on Thursday night.
