Beer run gone bad ends in Bacliff bust

BACLIFF — A Bacliff man accused of crashing a stolen vehicle into a Galveston County deputy sheriff’s patrol car before fleeing on foot was arrested early Wednesday when officers found him in a tree drinking beer he allegedly shoplifted from a convenience store, authorities said.

Marshall Dillon Meaders, 20, was charged with the unauthorized use of a vehicle, evading arrest and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
