  • In 1914, Fidelis Bernau Catharine, six years old, was killed in an automobile accident at Pearland.
  • In 1914, officers of the machine gun board arrived to conduct tests.
  • In 1964, a pianist at a local club found the Gulf a little rough and took his dislocated shoulder to Gary, Ind., to recuperate.
  • In 1964, four people were injured in weekend accidents on Seawall Boulevard and in one case a car went over the seawall.
  • In 1989, several organizations determined to rid Dickinson of its drug problem met to see how their cooperative efforts would help in the war against drugs.
