In 1913, the city commissioners planned for sewer extensions under bond issues.

In 1913, attorney general informed the county attorney that army men must pay a $15 hunting fee.

In 1963, crews were working to reroute the sanitary and storm sewer lines for construction of the new Galveston County courthouse.
