Recreational boating not suspended

Spill command center moving to Galveston

Limited shipping traffic resumes as supply at Texas City refineries run low

TEXAS CITY — U.S. Coast Guard officials agreed to reopen the Houston Ship Channel, with restrictions this afternoon. The Coast Guard also opened a portion of the Intracoastal Waterway and are assessing when traffic can resume in the Texas City Ship Channel.

Two causes of death ruled in Bolivar homicides
