Inside Galveston College Nobel Prize winner to host lecture at Galveston College

The 2013-14 Galveston College Lecture Series “Left Brain/Right Brain: Bridging the Gap” continues with Robert F. Curl, University Professor Emeritus, Pitzer-Schlumberger Professor of Natural Sciences Emeritus and Professor of Chemistry Emeritus at Rice University. His lecture titled “The Astounding Fullerenes: An Adventure in Chemistry” will be 6 p.m. Thursday in the Abe and Annie Seibel Wing.

Curl received a bachelor of science in chemistry from Rice University and his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California at Berkeley.
