Santa Fe police probe likely murder-suicide

SANTA FE -- Police said that a couple found dead in their house Friday both died of gunshot wounds from an apparent murder-suicide.

Five Lady Stings combine for seven gold medals

TEXAS CITY – Less than 24 hours after the District 24-4A track and field meet had concluded, Lady Stingarees track coach Denise Callis was still in awe with the effort her “Gang of Five” delivered against the likes of Pearland Dawson and Friendswood, each of which had far more competitors at Baytown’s Goose Creek Memorial.
