Truck driver critical after collision with Santa Fe school bus

SANTA FE — A 58-year-old Santa Fe man was in critical condition Wednesday after his SUV struck a school bus from the rear as it was picking up kids on the way to school, authorities said.

Commissioners honor Dickinson Gators, offshore helicopter company

The Galveston County Commissioners Court approved a resolution recognizing the Dickinson High School Football team. The commissioners court also approved a resolution to recognize Westwind Helicopter, Inc. submitted by County Judge Mark Henry.
