Charles Whynot, ‘Mr. Clear Lake,’ dies at 89

LEAGUE CITY — Charles Whynot, who earned the nickname “Mr. Clear Lake” because of his business and personal efforts to develop the area, died Monday. He was 89.

Exhibit tells of the history, journey of African-Americans
