LA MARQUE – Battling injuries with an already-this roster La Marque was able to fend off a bigger and deeper MacArthur team, 30-19, on Friday at Etheredge Stadium behind dual-threat quarterback Jalen Williams.

La Marque programmer involved in video game dispute apparent target of ‘swatting’ call

LA MARQUE — Police surrounded a house Thursday in response to a what turned out to be a hoax call apparently targeting a software programmer embroiled in a copyright dispute involving the popular video game “Minecraft.”

Firefighters union and La Marque agree on new contract

LA MARQUE — The firefighters union agreed to forgo a raise in the coming year, while the city agreed to increase certain monthly payments as part of an approved collective bargaining agreement.
