Former justice of the peace clerk sentenced for theft of county funds

GALVESTON — A former Justice of the Peace clerk who pleaded guilty to stealing more than $20,000 from the county government was sentenced Wednesday to probation and restitution of more than $23,500.

DICKINSON — The Gators football players were issued a playoff planner by coach John Snelson and his coaching staff this week. Inside the planner is a 36-day calendar that provides each player with tasks and responsibilities that could potentially conclude in Arlington for a state title bid on December 20.
