Galveston Bay will again be the site for the largest youth regatta in the state of Texas as the six-day Texas Youth Race Week sets sail Saturday.

Property values climb across county

Storm knocks Strand scaffolding onto parked cars

GALVESTON — A brief, but fierce, storm early Sunday morning collapsed scaffolding along The Strand in Galveston, knocked down a few trees across the county and fried the electronics of a yacht.
