WHAT: Eighth annual Krewe Babalu All-Krewe Parade

WHEN: 8 p.m. Friday

WHERE: Downtown Galveston

INFO: The parade will begin at 25th Street and Mechanics Row. It will then continue down Mechanics to 21st Street, go left on 21st to The Strand and then go left on The Strand back to 25th Street. This year the Dynamo Girls from Houston will be the Honorary Grand Marshalls of this year’s parade and will be available to sign calendars after the parade at their balcony party.

WHAT: Bay Area Alliance for Youth and Families 4th annual Crazy Krewe

WHEN: 8 a.m. Saturday

COST: Registration is $25 in advance or $35 the day of. A family 4-pack is $75 and children 5 and younger can register for free.

WHAT: Krewe d’Esprit Rosaire Parade

WHEN: 11 a.m. Saturday

WHERE: The parade will begin at 27th Street and Seawall Boulevard, turn right on 31st Street, and end at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Galveston

INFO: TheBattle of the Bands will be at 9 a.m. at 27th Street and Avenue M. There will be a free “Yard Party” immediately after the parade at Jack Johnson Park, 26th Street and Avenue M. WHERE: Parade will begin at the Avocet Subdivision west of Coconuts and east of the golf course on the Bolivar Peninsula.
