Who's Who on the Runway

Now that my face has been plastered all over the newspaper and The Daily News website I image plenty of folks will recognize me at Glamour for Grammar fashion shownext week.

But it turns out I’m far from the only recognizable face that will be strutting down the catwalk.

We have about 75 models participating in the fashion show, according to show coordinators. The 75 represent a mix of pros, amateurs and some community leaders who decided to help out.

Here are some of the people you might recognize:

Sgt. Destin Sims

Chief Peter Davis

League City Mayor Tim Paulissen

Dr. Bill Chuoke

Kevin Venable, AMOCO Business Development Manager

David Benson, League City Chief of Staff

Larry Bouley, Owner of Sign Quick

District Attorney Jack Roady

President of the Galveston Chamber of Commerce Gina Spagnola

Deborah Laine, Executive Director of TCISD foundation for the future

Dale Taylor, professor at Galveston College

Some of them have been featured on the Glamour for Grammar Facebook page so far and there will be more to come. There will also be plenty of local kids and people from the county. There is probably a pretty good chance you’ll know someone making there way down the red carped.

Make sure to get your tickets to cheer on some of your hometown folks.
