<p>Regional bomb squad members cut multiple layers of clothing off suspect Mehrzad Malekzadeh, 35 of Sugar Land, who was found with suspected improvised explosive devices in his car at the Kemah Walmart on Saturday morning April 19, 2014. Police found the devices while investigating reports of a man with a knife. Two regional bomb squads responded to investigate what turned out to be hoax devices and Malekzadeh was charged with making terroristic threats.</p>

Shoppers at the Walmart in Kemah got a rude surprise Saturday morning as a police lockdown kept them inside for four hours. Two regional bomb squads were called in to deal with suspected improvised explosive devices that turned out to be a hoax.
