This fella has spent his time involved with property tax issues and supporting programs to prevent steroid abuse among highschool athletes as well as having garage sales and tying to side step his residency issues.

He hasn't practiced medicine since around 1994 it seems so his expertise in obtaining medical coverage for unisured Texans by expanding Medicaid won't be his priority.

He is a puppet appointment that has spent most of his life in politics only obtaining an MD cause he didn't want to be a lawyer it seems.

Course being an anesthesiologist he certainly will be able to drug the politicians that need impressing into a coma. Unfortunately it will be irreversable for those Texans that need insurance. His concern for health of Texans is as bout as profecient as his doctor skills.
