Fifteen years ago, Julia Tottenham, a registered nurse, was working in the home health care industry. When clients began to complain of unreliable health care providers, she decided she would open her own health care personal assistance service and make sure her clients always had a reliable service to depend on.

In August of 1998, Julia and her husband opened Royalty Personal Assistance Service in Texas City, and it has been going strong ever since.

Licensed with the state, Royalty Personal Assistance Service provides care for children under the age of 21, elderly and all ages with functional disabilities.

Their services include helping with the daily activities of life. They help assist with activities such as light cleaning, meal preparation, personal care, exercise, laundry and shopping.

Royalty Personal Assistance Service is professional and always dependable. Their staff makes sure the client is living a life that is healthy and receiving the best health care.

They employ about 27 staff members who travel to the homes of their clients, all with at least six months experience in the health care industry.

They perform criminal background checks on all potential employees before sending them into the homes of their clients, as safety is always a top priority. They also try and match the client with the most compatible attendant so the client can feel as comfortable as possible.

Royalty Personal Assistance Service provides care accepts Molina, TMHP, Medicaid and United Health Care insurances, and also private pay.
