Back in 1938, Julius Milan, the owner of Acme Roofing and Manufacturing Company, founded ARAMCO Outside Blinds and was committed to making the best and the most durable aluminum louvered outside blind anywhere in the United States of America at a very affordable price.

As a responsible member of the Galveston community, Julius realized that it was his civic and business duty to support and help grow other Galveston businesses by trading and doing business within the community.

To this day, this honorable tradition continues to be true at ARAMCO Outside Blinds where the company makes every effort to source products and services from local Galvestonians before searching elsewhere.

We are pleased to recognize today a few of the many firms that ARAMCO Outside Blinds does business with in Galveston.

Steve’s Warehouse Tires

Steve’s Warehouse Tires on Broadway and 51st Street has become the “go to” shop when it comes to tires and automotive services.

We are a family-owned business that has been in operation since 1977. Steve’s Warehouse Tires has come a long way since then. We expanded our location and added an Alignment Technician who has been with us for over 20 years. We also specialize in tires, wheels, brakes and unmatched customer service.

Talk with Keven about your tires at 409-762-7996 or visit www.stevestires.com

Mutts With Manners

Mutts With Manners – Dog Training was built by two friends who worked in the zoo industry together: Heather Leeson and Trelle Dandridge.

Our new business partner, Laura Hafferty, brings our combined industry experience to over 35 years and not just with dogs but with exotic animals such as sharks, sea turtles, alligators, carnivores, and so much more! We love to work with animals but our passion is to train them.

Mutts With Manners offers obedience classes, private lessons, problem solving, board and train, socialization, and agility.

For dog training lessons at your place or ours, contact Heather Leeson, Trelle Dandridge or Laura Hafferty at 409-771-3357 or www.muttswithmanners.com.

Sapori Ristorante

Rosario and Nunzio Incorvaia’s authentic Italian-European eatery Sapori Ristorante is now open at 7611 Stewart Road on the Island’s West End, just a bit west of Noah’s Service Station.

The restaurant offers Old World-style favorites, including spaghetti with eggplant, chicken breast, grilled house sausage, skillet steak, and rolled pork fillet. Seafood offerings include grilled swordfish and superb baked salmon.

Sapori Ristorante made the delicious pastries and desserts that were served at ARAMCO’s Open House in May 2013.

You can reach Rosario or Nuncio at 409-497-2424.

Hunt Services

Well before Rod Hunt, owner of Hunt Services, decided to start his own business, he spent many years in the production, service, and installation departments at ARAMCO Outside Blinds, which makes him the elite island expert with outside blinds and shutters.

Hunt Services performs routine maintenance, repair, and new installation of ARAMCO Outside Blinds as well as Roll-up and Accordion Shutters. Hunt Services is the ARAMCO Authorized Dealer for Galveston County.
